IT Product Owner

Revolutionize Online Banking – Join the team at a leading bank as a Product Owner!

Warsaw-based with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As an IT Product Owner you will be working for our client, a leading player in the online banking sector, contributing to innovative digital banking solutions. The client is undergoing a major transformation of their digital platforms to enhance customer experience and optimize internal processes. You will be at the heart of product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the product vision and ensure alignment with business goals. This is a dynamic, Agile-driven environment, where your input directly impacts the direction and success of critical financial services used by thousands of customers daily.

Your main responsibilities: Manage the product backlog by creating, refining, and prioritizing items to maximize product value

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, collect feedback, and communicate progress
• Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business objectives
• Participate in sprint planning to ensure the development team understands priorities and tasks
• Review and accept deliverables from the development team to ensure quality and alignment with requirements
• Facilitate regular interactions with stakeholders to align expectations and product direction
• Support the development team by providing detailed requirements and removing blockers
• Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into actionable user stories
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to inform continuous improvement
• Ensure product compliance with relevant standards and internal quality benchmarks

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in IT projects
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• Proven ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into development tasks
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification
• Strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
• Proactive approach in identifying challenges and proposing solutions
• Empathy towards end-users and a user-centric mindset
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams in a collaborative environmente
