IT Project Manager

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As an IT Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing a major transformation in its data ecosystem. The client is replacing legacy systems with modern platforms to support a data-driven approach for better insights and customer experiences. You will lead the migration of marketing and CRM processes from outdated systems to innovative solutions like Pega CDH. This high-impact role involves managing dependencies, coordinating across multiple programs, and working with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Your main responsibilities: Leading Agile Scrum teams and driving Agile delivery processes

• Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration of legacy systems
• Managing dependencies, risks and issues proactively across multiple programs
• Facilitating release planning, sprint planning and backlog prioritization
• Collaborating with stakeholders and product owners to refine business requirements
• Supporting project tracking, reporting and delivery metrics
• Mediating between product owners and development teams to resolve conflicts
• Ensuring approval of design activities and managing vendor relationships
• Maintaining Agile tools such as storyboards, backlogs and progress charts
• Fostering continuous improvement and Agile mindset within the teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in project management within system, cloud or infrastructure domains
• 7+ years of hands-on Agile Scrum experience in global or distributed teams
• Strong servant leadership and team facilitation skills
• Proven risk and issue management experience
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-team coordination
• Understanding of Agile metrics and their application in delivery improvement
• Ability to prioritize backlog and user stories based on business value
• Familiarity with release and sprint planning in Agile environments
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Data & Analytics domains
• Knowledge of big data and cloud technologies
• Exposure to Business Analysis and Data tools such as SQL
• Understanding of user story mapping and MVP evaluation techniques
• Knowledge of Pega CDH or similar campaign management platforms
