Lead the Charge in Cybersecurity: IT Security Systems Analyst Wanted!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/month in the office)

As an IT Security Systems Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the online banking industry known for its innovative approach to digital financial services. You will be crucial in safeguarding the company’s IT infrastructure by identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities. This role involves working on cutting-edge cybersecurity projects that aim to enhance the overall security posture of the company’s digital banking systems.

Your main responsibilities: Prepare, execute, and document vulnerability scans

• Coordinate the remediation process for detected vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement new techniques for vulnerability testing
• Participate in IT system vulnerability assessment projects
• Promote, consult on, and recommend best practices in IT security
• Enhance your skills in assessing vulnerabilities in emerging IT technologies
• Develop guidelines for cybersecurity risk assessment and evaluation
• Conduct risk analysis specifically focusing on cybersecurity vulnerabilities
• Monitor and analyze threats and security measures in the cybersecurity domain
• Design, develop, and automate reports on vulnerability scanning results

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of security in at least one area: mobile applications, web application security, or infrastructure security
• Proficiency with security scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys, etc.)
• Familiarity with OWASP methodologies and standards
• Strong logical reasoning and written communication skills
• Self-discipline for effective remote work and teamwork abilities
• Openness and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in English, particularly for understanding technical documentation
• Experience in designing, implementing, and operating technical security measures
• Knowledge of the telecom solutions market and security technologies
