Junior IT Analyst

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1-2 days in the office/month).

As a Junior IT Analyst, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, contributing to data-driven solutions for internal business processes. You will be part of a team focused on designing and developing data marts, creating prototypes, and analyzing complex datasets to support business decisions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of ETL solutions, creating and maintaining data algorithms, and using Business Intelligence tools to deliver insightful reports.

Your main responsibilities: Design and create data marts to optimize reporting and analysis

• Co-develop solution prototypes for ETL implementation
• Collect and clarify business requirements, providing technical and business recommendations
• Analyze datasets using SQL and document data lineage
• Search for information within data warehouses and develop data processing algorithms
• Test and validate IT solutions, ensuring their efficiency and accuracy
• Support business testing activities and ensure successful deployments
• Maintain detailed documentation and algorithm repositories
• Create reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools
• Ensure the high quality and accuracy of delivered solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A degree in a technical field or are in your final year of study (e.g., computer science, econometrics, mathematics, or related fields)
• A strong eagerness to expand your knowledge and skills
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic data modeling
• Experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good organizational abilities with a strong focus on the quality of your work
• A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a passion for data analysis
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, especially Microsoft Power BI
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to document your work thoroughly

Nice to have:

• Skills in gathering system and business requirements and the ability to identify alternative solutions to defined problems
• Experience working with databases, familiarity with GNU R, and Jupyter
• Knowledge in finance, accounting, or banking
