As a .NET Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. Your main project will involve refactoring an internal system that primarily handles invoices and is over 20 years old, requiring a rewrite to modernize its codebase. You will be part of a team consisting of three developers and one analyst, working collaboratively to rewrite the internal system. The project began in December, with some functionalities already delivered to the business. The system comprises several modules, including orders, contract registry, and invoice registry. Proficiency in the Blazor framework is essential for this role.

Your main responsibilities: Refactor the existing internal system to improve its efficiency and maintainability

• Collaborate with team members and the analyst to understand requirements and design solutions
• Develop new functionalities and modules using the Blazor framework
• Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards during refactoring and development
• Test and debug code to identify and fix issues
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive feedback on code improvements
• Document technical specifications and processes for future reference
• Support the deployment and maintenance of the refactored system

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in .NET development, with experience in refactoring legacy systems
• Expertise in the Blazor framework for building web user interfaces using C# and HTML
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and ideas
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in .NET development
