As a PMO you will be working for our client, a leading global investment institution delivering critical technology solutions that support financial, credit, and market risk operations. The client’s projects aim to modernize infrastructure, enforce regulatory compliance, and scale operations using best-in-class delivery practices. You will play a key role in managing cross-functional programs and driving project delivery while maintaining high standards in documentation and reporting. In this fast-paced and structured environment, your ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and ensure compliance with SDLC methodologies will be essential.
Your main responsibilities: Oversee coordination of programs across the Finance and Risk Technology portfolio
- Support project managers and technology leads in managing complex project pipelines
- Establish and maintain best practices aligned with internal project and program guidelines
- Educate and mentor project teams on SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
- Track project metrics and KPIs, producing regular performance reports
- Enforce SDLC compliance and governance across active projects
- Create, review, and maintain high-quality project documentation
- Facilitate project closure and lead benefit realization analysis
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align financial and operational objectives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project methodologies and tools
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of PMO or program/portfolio management experience in technology, banking, or consulting
- Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, dashboards, and scorecards
- Experience in project metrics tracking and KPI analysis
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience working in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance mandates in financial institutions
- Confidence to present structured recommendations and influence decision-making
