As a PMO Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader, supporting an ambitious Operational Resilience program. You will contribute to ensuring the organization can adapt, recover, and thrive during operational disruptions. This role involves implementing governance standards, refining portfolio controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery outcomes. By joining this dynamic environment, you will play a vital role in shaping a mature, resilient operational framework within a large-scale portfolio.
Your main responsibilities:
- Implementing governance standards across the portfolio and ensuring compliance
- Managing risks and issues at the program level and maintaining accurate registers
- Organizing and documenting workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Developing and maintaining project templates to support best practices
- Preparing consolidated materials and monthly portfolio-level reports for reviews
- Liaising with other PMOs to ensure consistent implementation of standards
- Administering the program plan and coordinating updates with Project Managers
- Supporting assurance reviews to monitor portfolio health
- Managing program communications and reporting cycles efficiently
- Documenting lessons learned from projects and integrating improvements
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in a PMO environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging to various audiences
- Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- A track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to identify and address risks
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
- Autonomy and initiative to quickly adapt to new projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Collaborative mindset as a team player
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Operational Resilience frameworks
- Expertise in portfolio-level reporting and governance practices
- Advanced analytical skills to evaluate program-level data
- Experience working in the financial services industry
