As a Product Control Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to transforming its Product Control function. This transformation involves process simplification, technology enhancements, and organizational change. You will collaborate with Product Control teams, Finance Change, and IT departments to support project delivery, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication of progress. Your role will be pivotal in delivering business analysis outcomes aligned with best practices, ensuring compliance with change frameworks, and driving improvements to financial reporting and control processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality project analysis, including data analysis, process mapping, and benefit validation
- Working closely with the Product Control team to assess and document the impact of change requirements
- Leading finance-related system testing phases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance-related changes
- Ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks within agreed timelines and project plans
- Liaising with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to confirm requirements and business impacts
- Maintaining clear and detailed documentation of processes, requirements, and test outcomes
- Assisting in designing and testing solutions to meet confirmed business needs
- Ensuring compliance with internal control standards and optimizing relations with regulatory bodies
- Supporting the transition of documented processes back into business operations
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets through experience in accounting or finance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Project delivery experience of at least two years, either in a line role or within a project team
- A solid understanding of the project lifecycle, preferably with a relevant qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- A self-motivated mindset with a rapid learning capability in a dynamic environment
- A delivery-focused attitude, ensuring high-quality outputs within project deadlines
- The ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders and technical experts
