Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 80% remotely!

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution, on a cutting-edge cloud solutions project. You will drive and develop resilient, automated infrastructure capabilities within their Open Banking (OB) cloud solutions. Your expertise in AWS cloud services will be crucial as you create and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, application and network infrastructure, and configure security controls for the OB platform. You will collaborate with IT system analysts, the Engineering team, and SRE engineers to translate requirements into capabilities that reduce toil and automate routine tasks, ensuring efficient platform monitoring and alerting.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform to create consistent and repeatable platform environments
  • Creating and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure to support Open Banking platform rollout across various markets
  • Ensuring all services comply with internal controls
  • Creating, maintaining, and tuning monitoring frameworks to monitor production platform health
  • Collaborating with IT system analysts, Engineering team, and SRE engineers to understand and translate requirements
  • Keeping up-to-date with AWS services, IaC, CI/CD, and automation solutions
  • Configuring security controls for the OB platform
  • Ensuring monitoring and alerting frameworks are effective for issue detection and mitigation
  • Automating routine tasks to reduce toil
  • Maintaining application and network infrastructure

​​​​​​​You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong AWS DevOps skills (Route 53, VPC, S3, IAM, EC2, ELB, RDS, EKS, Lambda, API gateway, AWS Session Manager)
  • Experience with Jenkins Automation
  • Expertise in Terraform for AWS environment stack build
  • Proficiency in Linux, Nginx, and Squid administration
  • Knowledge of Python, Node, and Shell Scripting
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with ALM tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of security concepts
  • Solid networking skills with knowledge of subnets, firewall, IP ranges, CIDR blocks, routes designing, NACLs, application clustering, load balancing, and high availability concepts
  • Understanding of IAAS, PAAS, FAAS concepts, and server and application configuration technologies

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong team player across geographically diverse teams
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn and adapt to new challenges
