As a Solution Architect, you will be working for our client, a global leader in banking and financial services, focused on driving innovation and compliance in the evolving financial landscape. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure, scalable Open Banking solutions that integrate with internal systems and meet regulatory standards. Your expertise in cloud architecture, particularly AWS, will be critical in developing and modernizing financial products and services, helping the organization stay competitive and compliant.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and architecting secure, scalable Open Banking solutions based on business requirements

• Integrating Open Banking APIs with internal systems, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions
• Developing and documenting detailed solution blueprints for cloud-based systems
• Evaluating and recommending AWS services for migration or modernization
• Collaborating with developers, engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to meet project goals
• Assessing existing AWS cloud infrastructure and recommending improvements
• Designing and building distributed containerized platforms for efficient deployment
• Ensuring data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in all architectural designs
• Defining transition plans and roadmaps for IT systems

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture principles
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS
• Proficiency in API design, implementation, and system integration
• Experience with industry-standard integration frameworks and patterns
• Knowledge of networking, security, and storage concepts, including REST API, TLS, and OAuth
• Experience in microservice architectures, workflow management systems, and telemetry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident and methodical approach
• Experience in defining transition plans and roadmaps for IT systems
• Significant experience in designing and building distributed containerized platforms
• Knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Expertise in developing innovative financial products within a regulated environment
• Experience with Open Banking standards and regulatory compliance
