  • Integrating OpenTelemetry with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk
  • Customizing instrumentation for languages like Java, Python, and Node.js
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards for real-time and historical performance insights
  • Analyzing telemetry data to detect and troubleshoot system anomalies
  • Ensuring telemetry infrastructure follows security and compliance standards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive observability adoption and improvements
  • Contributing to the OpenTelemetry project by adding features or fixing bugs

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT with strong observability and telemetry expertise
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, including tracing, metrics, and logging
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or Golang
  • Experience integrating observability with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub
  • Deep understanding of microservices and context propagation for distributed tracing

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to write and maintain technical documentation for observability practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience contributing to open-source observability frameworks
  • Background in infrastructure observability for Dell/EMC, NetApp, or Pure platforms
