Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days/week in the office)
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on strengthening its risk and finance technology landscape. You will be acting as a vital bridge between finance, risk, and IT teams to ensure accurate reporting, transparency, and compliance. In this role, you are contributing to the design and delivery of scalable solutions, facilitating effective communication between technical and business stakeholders, and playing a key role in product development and control processes supporting global trading operations.
Your main responsibilities: Acting as a liaison between Product Control and development teams
- Gathering, documenting, and clarifying business requirements and user stories
- Creating and maintaining process documentation, glossaries, and user guides
- Designing solutions aligned with business needs and target architecture
- Delivering training sessions to developers on financial concepts and controls
- Facilitating workshops and feedback sessions to align stakeholders
- Supporting business users by investigating and explaining data discrepancies
- Translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
- Contributing to team discussions on design, issues, and development priorities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate delivery of solutions
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proficiency in business analysis and requirements documentation
- Strong understanding of financial products such as derivatives, FX, and equities
- Experience with Product Control processes including P&L, valuation, and reporting
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis
- Familiarity with process modeling techniques like UML or workflow diagrams
- Ability to communicate technical and financial concepts clearly
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid knowledge of Excel for financial data analysi
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with Python for automation or data processing
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, or data warehousing
- Understanding of trade lifecycle and risk management principles
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in financial services
- Experience designing and leading knowledge transfer initiatives
