As a Technical DevOps Solutions Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. You will be part of an expert team focused on revolutionizing software delivery workflows, automating releases to production, and embedding programmatic standards and controls. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions that enhance engineering velocity and impact millions of customers worldwide. You will collaborate with top professionals from leading technology companies, ensuring DevOps is embedded at the core of the software development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and optimizing software delivery workflows for automation
• Embedding programmatic standards and controls throughout the SDLC
• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality code in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and Python
• Implementing and maintaining Git-based version control strategies, particularly using GitHub
• Designing and applying architectural and design patterns to enhance system scalability
• Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with CloudBees as a plus
• Applying test-driven development principles to ensure software quality and reliability
• Writing and maintaining shell scripts to automate system tasks and workflows
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex software and infrastructure issues
• Working in an agile, cross-functional team to drive DevOps adoption and best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer in a DevOps environment
• Strong proficiency in Git, particularly GitHub
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with test-driven development methodologies
• Strong understanding of architectural and design patterns
• Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
• Hands-on experience working in an agile, cross-functional team
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining shell scripts for automation
• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with CloudBees for CI/CD pipeline optimization
