As a Technical Product Owner, you will be working for our client, a renowned financial institution focused on developing centralized platforms, shared services, libraries, and tools to streamline costs and reduce cycle time. This role supports the definition, prioritization, development, and release of new products, as well as the enhancement of existing products, ensuring they remain competitive and meet client needs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, product management, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality, easily consumable solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Articulating the product vision and mission clearly
  • Creating structured epics and user stories to communicate desired functionality
  • Working with Product Management, Engineers, Architecture, and Business Stakeholders to capture business/customer needs
  • Delivering and supporting business and system analysis
  • Providing the crucial link between customers, Product Management, and Engineering for product enhancement requests
  • Assessing the benefits and risks of various solutions
  • Coordinating product delivery through design reviews and walk-throughs
  • Assisting with prioritization of competing business demands aligned to outcomes and OKRs
  • Participating in release and strategic planning
  • Providing end-of-sprint, release, and benefits realization reporting
  • Offering professional consultancy for application teams’ queries/requests

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • A University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and best practices
  • The ability to review functional/technical specification documentation
  • Experience with Jira, Rally, and/or other project management solutions
  • A track record of working on the delivery of complex deployment projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business sense with an understanding of how IT systems impact business objectives
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • SAFe Agilist certification
  • Knowledge or experience in Cloud technologies adoption such as AWS/Azure/GCP
