As a Technical Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, overseeing multiple work streams to deliver new products and services that enhance cybersecurity. You will collaborate with empowered product teams and a Scrum master to solve complex problems, ensuring adherence to governance standards and managing resources effectively. This role requires prioritization, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive project progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leading delivery of product development workstreams using Agile practices
• Managing the product development backlog and setting clear priorities
• Engaging with cybersecurity teams to define and understand interfaces
• Ensuring adherence to policy, governance controls, and design standards
• Working with third parties including academia, vendors, and legal organizations
• Identifying, managing, and communicating dependencies and risks to product delivery
• Actively managing blockers, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
• Escalating issues to the Product Owner and Portfolio Manager with recommendations
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring projects are on target and comply with all governance and control standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience as a Project/Delivery Manager in complex programs
• Demonstrable experience with Agile project delivery
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, machine learning, or big data
• Strong familiarity with JIRA and JIRA administration
• Exceptional planning and leadership skills
• Strong business and stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in highly regulated industries
• Prior experience as a Product Manager in a large, complex organization
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and controls
• Experience with innovative teams creating bespoke solutions

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Prior experience within the financial industry
• Familiarity with R&D organizations and academia partnerships
• Advanced certifications in project management or Agile methodologies
