As a Reconciliation & Proofing Senior Analyst, you will join the Trustee team of our client, one of the largest Private bank in the world. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the interests of investors and pension participants in collective investment and pension funds. The team achieve this by supervising these funds and ensuring they comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. Open communication is key to success.
Your main responsibilities: Lead NAV Review & Process Improvement: Lead the reconciliation and proofing of Net Asset Value (NAV) for EMEA funds, ensuring quality and timely results. Analyze operational risks and propose improvements to standardize and automate the process across four jurisdictions
- Subject Matter Expertise & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute your in-depth financial knowledge to the team by providing valuable insights and promoting best practices for digitization and standardization. Act as a resource for colleagues, sharing your expertise through coaching and knowledge transfer
- Problem-Solving & Project Collaboration: Tackle complex process issues involving clients, systems, and reconciliation breaks. Apply your analytical skills to evaluate procedures, workflows, and industry standards to identify solutions. Play a key role in change management initiatives, offering advanced solutions and supporting automation projects
- Risk Management & Control: Identify and escalate control gaps to senior management, upholding Citi’s organizational culture principles and values. Implement procedures to mitigate risks and prevent control losses
- Relationship Building & Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients, and stakeholders across various departments (Finance, Control, Technology, etc.). Effectively communicate to understand their needs and provide solutions. Utilize your collaborative communication skills to persuade and influence others, including potential negotiation with external parties
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in Fund Accounting, Reconciliation, or Custody
- Subject matter expertise in one or more areas: investment funds, financial assets, asset servicing, breaks reconciliation
- Proven track record of participating in team-based projects, including business analysis
- Proactive problem-solving skills
