As an Accounting Schematics Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization undergoing a significant transformation in financial reporting and accounting systems. Your role will support a major project focused on enhancing data reliability, implementing dual reporting processes, and ensuring alignment with both IFRS and local GAAP standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze and improve accounting systems, handle complex data sets, and contribute to streamlining financial processes. You’re ideal for this role if you have: Analyzing accounting data repositories to ensure data reliability and integrity
- Collaborating with upstream and downstream systems teams for implementing changes
- Participating in project phases to understand system complexities and reporting impacts
- Designing and implementing dual reporting processes for IFRS and Local GAAP
- Ensuring accurate data sourcing and reporting alignment with organizational requirements
- Supporting stakeholders with technical accounting expertise during project delivery
- Managing key issues by escalating them effectively for timely resolution
- Documenting and validating financial reporting requirements and workflows
- Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting processes and control frameworks
- Leading communication efforts to ensure stakeholder alignment and project success
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) and strong technical skills
- Experience in finance project implementation from data sourcing to reporting
- Expertise in designing dual reporting processes under IFRS and Local GAAP
- Understanding of general ledger (GL) systems and financial reporting structures
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing complex data sets (advanced MS Excel skills)
- Strong organizational and planning abilities to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels
- An ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment
- A university degree in finance or a related discipline
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Previous experience in banking or financial regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in French at an intermediate level (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with financial transformation projects and change management
