As an Automation Tester you will be working for our client, a leading insurance company undergoing a major digital transformation. This exciting project involves modernizing their core systems and enhancing their customer-facing platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, automation tools, and software development lifecycles, combined with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be part of a dynamic team working in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will be essential in driving the adoption of best practices in test automation and contributing to the overall success of the project.

Your main responsibilities: Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts

• Execute automated tests and analyze results
• Report and track defects
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Participate in code reviews
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and update test scripts
• Research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Experience in Java programming
• Proficiency with Selenium, Maven, and JUnit
• Working knowledge of Git version control systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a team within a Scrum methodology
• Excellent communication skills
