AWS Cloud Architect

As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, to design and implement a robust and secure cloud infrastructure solution. This project involves enhancing the security and compliance of their existing Market Abuse Surveillance system by leveraging AWS Key Management Services (KMS).

Your main responsibilities: Design and architect a new, lightweight AWS landing zone in the Dublin region to accommodate KMS services

• Integrate AWS KMS with the existing Actimize Surveil-X system to ensure seamless encryption and decryption of sensitive data
• Develop strategies for key rotation, revocation, and disaster recovery to maintain optimal security and business continuity
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Optimize the cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex cloud architectures on AWS
• Deep understanding of AWS KMS, including key management best practices and security considerations
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with financial services industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation
• Understanding of network and security concepts
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools
