As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution undergoing a significant transformation in their Product Control function. This project focuses on streamlining organizational processes, simplifying workflows, and enhancing technological capabilities to drive efficiency and compliance. You will collaborate with finance, IT, and change management teams to deliver high-quality business analysis outcomes, ensuring alignment with best practices and frameworks.

Your main responsibilities: Supporting project analysis, including data, process mapping, and benefit validation

  • Collaborating with product control teams to assess and document change impacts
  • Acting as a business lead during system testing phases to ensure requirements coverage
  • Coordinating user acceptance tests for Finance elements
  • Liaising with stakeholders to confirm requirements and ensure effective delivery
  • Documenting business processes and providing high-standard project documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Building strong relationships with finance and IT stakeholders
  • Facilitating clear communication between global teams to resolve conflicts
  • Delivering tasks within agreed timelines and maintaining quality standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Prior experience in Global Banking and Markets, particularly in accounting roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Access
  • Knowledge of project lifecycles and frameworks, preferably with a qualification
  • Self-motivation and a rapid learning ability in dynamic environments
  • Focus on delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines
  • The ability to build and influence relationships across various levels
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude toward new challenges

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence tools
  • A qualification as a certified accountant
  • Familiarity with Global Market Products
  • Exposure to finance change or transformation projects
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Knowledge of internal control standards and practices
