Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on transforming into a data-driven organization. You will be part of the Data and Analytics Office (DAO) team, specifically within the Data Architecture team, contributing to one of its core products. Your role will involve supporting the Protect and Unlock pillars of the data strategy by ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured and translated into actionable development tasks. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Agile teams, and various stakeholders to enhance data governance, data quality, and information lifecycle management processes.

Your main responsibilities: Supporting the Product Owner in evolving the product roadmap and managing the backlog

• Creating and refining epics, user stories, and product requirements
• Conducting analysis of customer journeys and product functionalities
• Defining and tracking key performance indicators and metrics for the product
• Capturing, analyzing, and documenting business user requirements
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented
• Facilitating communication between stakeholders to align product goals and expectations
• Ensuring data governance and quality considerations are incorporated into product design
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within data management
• Supporting Agile ceremonies and contributing to an iterative development process

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrable experience working on data-related projects, including data governance, data quality, and information lifecycle management
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex, multi-regional projects
• Strong ability to capture, analyze, and document business user requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in creating and managing product backlogs in Agile environments
• Familiarity with data analytics, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making
• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to data management
• Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile projects
• Knowledge of financial industry data regulations and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL or data visualization tools
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and best practices
