Business Analyst

Bridge Business Needs with Automation Excellence!

Warsaw – based opportunity with possibility to work 3-4 days a week remotely.

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution specializing in investment and securities services. You will join a dynamic team focused on optimizing and automating operational processes through the development of End User Computing (EUC) tools. In this role, you will analyze existing business workflows, propose enhancements, and implement automation use cases using modern technologies. Your work will support decision-making, increase efficiency, and enable business teams to operate with greater agility and precision.

Your main responsibilities: Maintain and improve automation tools supporting end-user operations

• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for optimization and automation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define automation use cases
• Design, develop, test, and document custom automation solutions based on functional needs
• Provide technical guidance and analytical expertise throughout the development lifecycle
• Support peer reviews and ensure development aligns with quality and governance standards
• Communicate regularly with business managers to share progress and align on priorities
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and assist in training staff to use new tools effectively
• Contribute to procedural improvements and promote best practices in automation
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and development guidelines

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong expertise in MS Excel including advanced VBA skills
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx for automation and data workflows
• Proven ability to maintain and develop End User Computing (EUC) tools
• Solid understanding of data models, relationships, and transformation logic
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and functional solutions
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams
• Experience with documentation and technical specifications creation
• Fluency in written and spoken English at B2 level or higher
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools, SQL, Python, or Atlassian stack
