As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution. You will be responsible for assessing cloud security posture, designing security solutions, and driving automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborating with cloud platform engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, you will ensure best practices align with mandatory security controls. Your role will be critical in enabling the organization to make strategic and operational security decisions across multiple cloud platforms, mitigating threats and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Contributing to the development of Wiz dashboards, configurations, and automation, including API integrations, Jenkins Pipelines, and secret rotation
• Overseeing Cloud Security Assessment security reviews through manual and automated processes
• Collaborating with vendors, client staff, and contractors to implement and integrate Cloud Security solutions
• Liaising with Cloud platform engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to enforce security best practices
• Understanding and applying Cloud Security Baseline documentation across multiple platforms, including Ali Cloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Driving continuous improvement in cloud security assessments and automated processes to ensure high-quality code and data
• Collaborating with cloud security subject matter experts across multiple teams
• Proactively researching emerging threats and vulnerabilities to identify and mitigate cloud security risks
• Supporting the execution of cloud security capabilities to align with strategic business objectives
• Recommending configuration changes to improve effectiveness, performance, usability, and value of cloud security assessment tools

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Ali Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Extensive experience in building automation pipelines using cloud platforms, third-party tools, and source control systems like GitHub or GitBucket
• Strong working knowledge of software development and control deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and SQL
• Experience in building and deploying applications in the cloud using CI/CD frameworks and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Nexus
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with cloud platform teams, security architects, and application teams
• High sense of urgency, self-motivation, and personal integrity
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong knowledge of Agile working methodologies
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills to effectively articulate complex security concepts to various audiences
• Ability to produce clear and concise reports and control documentation for internal and external stakeholders

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Wiz
• Professional security-related qualifications
• Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Cloud Security Certifications
