Corporate Actions Senior Project Analyst

As a Corporate Actions Senior Project Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution known for its extensive international reach and commitment to innovation within investment banking.

You will contribute to transformational initiatives within Market Data Operations for Funds, focusing on global corporate actions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering scalable operational solutions, driving internal and client-driven change, and optimizing workflows in a fast-paced financial services environment. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of financial data and corporate actions processing across global markets.

Your main responsibilities: Lead the delivery of system developments and business onboarding projects across Operations

• Prepare and analyze proposed system changes to align business requirements with technical solutions
• Formulate comprehensive project plans with defined resource needs and execution timelines
• Draft detailed business requirement documentation for new initiatives
• Test new system functionalities within user acceptance testing environments
• Coordinate and execute regression test plans for version testing readiness
• Report and track analysis and resolution of defects using a centralized defect management tool
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, and external vendors
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions
• Support project governance by providing status updates and risk assessments

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a project delivery role
• Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and derivatives
• Proven experience leading projects without dedicated project management oversight
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Deep understanding of financial operations and market data workflows
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with security vendors and data sources
• Knowledge of SQL being a plus
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail
