As a Risk and Compliance Data Modeler, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to building innovative digital solutions for next-generation banking services worldwide. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining business, data, software, and integration architecture standards, ensuring robust data models for efficient requirement agreement, system specification, and data governance. Your work will involve collaborating with global business partners to create and implement effective data solutions, using consistent service patterns to support and enhance ongoing development.

Your main responsibilities:

• Contributing to the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Logical Data Model for Risk and Compliance
• Designing and maintaining application data models (logical and physical) across Risk and Compliance
• Providing expert consultancy on data modeling to engineering and architecture teams
• Producing conceptual data models and enterprise logical data models in consultation with domain experts
• Communicating efficiently on complex data models to various audiences
• Advocating for data modeling value and gaining buy-in from stakeholders
• Analyzing data through both forward and reverse engineering approaches
• Applying standard data modeling techniques to produce non-duplicative data models
• Understanding standard physical data representations and their impact on application performance
• Exploiting industry models and frameworks such as BIAN, IBM FSDM, and BDW

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Ability to produce conceptual data models and enterprise logical data models in consultation with domain experts
• Strong communication and presentation skills for complex data models
• Comfort with ambiguity and strong problem-solving skills
• Stakeholder engagement skills to advocate for data modeling and gain buy-in
• Experience in producing and consulting on application logical and physical data models
• Skills in analyzing data through forward and reverse engineering approaches
• Expertise in standard data modeling techniques and non-duplicative data models
• Understanding of standard physical data representations like relational database schemas, XML, and JSON
• Knowledge of how physical data model design affects application performance
• Ability to exploit industry models and frameworks like BIAN, IBM FSDM, and BDW
