As a Data & Reporting Qlik/Looker Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, dedicated to delivering exceptional data insights and analytics services. You will play a crucial role in modeling data and creating visualizations to meet diverse business requirements. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing the performance of Qlik Sense and Looker Studio applications, ensuring high-quality data presentation and usability for stakeholders across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing Qlik Sense/Looker Studio dashboards to meet business requirements
• Working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs
• Developing and maintaining robust data models for efficient data visualization and analysis
• Conducting performance tuning and optimization of Qlik Sense/Looker Studio applications to enhance user experience
• Writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Qlik Sense/Looker Studio, data models, and development processes
• Managing data visualization projects
• Ensuring data accuracy and quality
• Staying up to date with new trends and technologies in data visualization
• Articulating complex technical solutions to non-specialist audiences

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrable experience of working (3 years minimum) in a data visualization-related role
• Commercial experience using Qlik Sense & Looker Studio as visualization tools
• Experience in the preparation of business reports and dashboards
• Expert-level SQL query skills
• Understanding of Agile ways of working, experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Knowledge of and experience with design & prototyping tools
• Understanding of the banking/financial services industry and/or shared services organizations
• Experience in business analysis, solution design, change & implementation, or consulting activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience with running meetings in English over video or teleconference
• Experience in developing Looker Studio Community Visualizations
