Data Scientist/Analyst

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/week)

As a Data Scientist/Analyst you will be working for our client, a leading company in online banking, contributing to a project focused on enhancing sales and customer satisfaction through data-driven strategies. You will analyze real customer data to identify patterns, develop actionable insights, and create predictive models that support the distribution of insurance products. By combining advanced analytics with clear storytelling and visualization, you will help optimize marketing campaigns, improve customer communication, and drive the client’s long-term growth in a competitive digital finance landscape.

Your main responsibilities: Prepare analyses defining sales levels of insurance products

• Develop recommendations for targeting specific customer groups with tailored offers
• Create clear and engaging visualizations using Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
• Support the Data Science team in building predictive and machine learning models
• Contribute to increasing insurance product sales while reducing distribution costs
• Improve customer satisfaction through data-driven marketing communication
• Collaborate with teams developing concepts for direct customer communication
• Participate in planning and executing direct marketing campaigns
• Work closely with teams responsible for insurance product development and sales
• Ensure analytical findings are communicated effectively to business stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of MSSQL
• Strong knowledge of Oracle
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Practical experience with Python and analytical packages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to tell compelling stories with data
• Proven ability to collaborate with analytical and business teams
• Proficiency in English at B2 – C1 level
• Experience creating reports and dashboards in PowerBI

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Synerise software
• Knowledge of the insurance market and products
