As a Data Warehouse Developer you will be working for our client, a leading company in the insurance sector, pivotal to the financial security of millions. You will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to advancing the technological backbone of their extensive Data Warehouse. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major project focused on building and optimizing reusable components, developing APIs to integrate diverse technologies, and exploring new tools and cloud solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing data processing efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives by building innovative tools and frameworks that empower data-driven decisions across the organization, shaping the future of their data landscape.

Your main responsibilities: Build tools to support the work of Data Warehouse developers, including reusable components

• Develop APIs connecting various technologies such as SAS, Oracle, and REST API
• Create solutions for data exchange between IT systems using tools like Kafka
• Conduct Proof of Concept projects for new tools and technologies, including cloud solutions
• Design and build tools for monitoring user activity within the Data Warehouse
• Participate in optimizing data processing by building supporting components and performing targeted analyses
• Construct technical data marts and BI reports using SAS Viya or Power BI
• Provide technological support for strategic projects

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in designing Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions
• Hands-on experience with SAS and SAS Viya environments (DI Studio, Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, Visual Analytics)
• Practical experience working with Oracle environments, particularly with PL/SQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and technologies (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA)
• Experience in building and integrating with APIs
• Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure
• Ability to design and create BI reports in tools such as SAS Viya or Power BI
• Experience with performance optimization of data processing
• A proactive approach to exploring and implementing new technologies
