Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Delivery Lead, you will be working for our client, a global provider of financial services. The company is responsible for delivering risk management IT solutions that support its global operations, focusing on ensuring risk performance aligns with the Group Risk Strategy. You will be accountable for the delivery of the Strategic Aggregation Platform (SAGE) global delivery book of work, incorporating regulatory deliverables and Risk Governed tasks. Your role will involve collaborating with global stakeholders and managing the delivery process to meet business priorities and industry standards.

Your main responsibilities: Managing all aspects of delivery, including budget, procurement, and timelines

  • Collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to define and prioritize the vendor roadmap
  • Ensuring alignment of vendor and development teams with Clients priorities and deadlines
  • Defining and enforcing quality processes for the vendor and SAGE IT teams
  • Identifying and assessing risks related to the delivery of the platform
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring transparency through forums such as Programme Steering Committees
  • Developing strong relationships with global SAGE IT and business teams
  • Working closely with SAGE product owners to ensure a constant flow of work items into backlogs
  • Collaborating with other streams under the SAGE team to deliver common IT capabilities
  • Adopting Agile & DevOps methodologies to improve working efficiency and transparency

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong technical ownership experience, especially in business operation transformation
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing organizational transformation
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting for cross-functional teams
  • Experience in vendor management and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in project management methods and techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps development practices
  • Experience in people development and team structure design
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities from global stakeholders
  • Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • A qualification in Information Technology
  • Knowledge of financial risk management in the banking or financial industry
  • Experience in the Traded Risk domain
  • Familiarity with OLAP & BI technologies
  • Understanding of financial institution policies, processes, and procedures
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Understanding of market risk measures and aggregation practices (e.g., Value at Risk, Greeks, PFE, XVA)
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks, particularly FRTB
  • Experience with Agile & DevOps in large-scale financial projects
