As a Delivery Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution dedicated to providing a fully managed, strategic, and cost-optimized Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). This platform aims to enhance Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) engineering teams’ capabilities to develop and deploy resilient, high-performance applications. You will play a key role in a cross-functional team, driving innovation and ensuring the continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and engineering practices. Your leadership and commitment to quality will be crucial in successfully delivering technology projects and achieving business goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Facilitate the delivery of working software from concept to live using Agile methodologies
• Align business goals with release plans to ensure timely delivery of features
• Foster collaboration among teams and protect them from external influences or distractions
• Work alongside Product Owners, other Scrum Masters/Delivery Managers, and closely with the Delivery Lead
• Facilitate the Scrum process by arranging and leading agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Plan and schedule the delivery increment while maintaining the team’s scrum board
• Challenge the team to improve processes and inspire them to find new, better ways of working
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies
• Drive, track, and communicate the progress of sprints and releases through metrics like team velocity and burn down charts
• Lead and drive governance and compliance processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong practical experience and understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)/Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban
• Proven track record of successfully delivering to key objectives and deliverables on time, to scope, and within budget
• Experience working in teams delivering complex projects on time and resolving problems at team and organization levels
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing global stakeholders and teams
• Expertise in estimation techniques and planning for software development projects
• Effective collaboration skills with wider non-agile teams
• Stakeholder management skills with experience in backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and user stories
• Exposure to and experience with the SDLC; design, coding, testing, building, QA, deployment, and maintenance, and with service-oriented architecture
• Demonstrable ability to self-manage, be proactive, take ownership, build relationships, and drive solutions from inception to production
• Professional experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Rally

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with release management preparation and implementation
• Knowledge of financial services or banking industry practices
• Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services
• Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
