As an Engineering Desktop Support Specialist, you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. You will be responsible for providing technical support to end users across EMEA regional offices, ensuring smooth operation of workplace desktop technologies, telephony, mobile access solutions, and multimedia conferencing tools. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, develop your expertise, and contribute to a global support team.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware break-fix, troubleshooting, and provisioning support for desktop technologies
  • Manage relationships with global counterparts to ensure seamless IT support across locations
  • Monitor and manage the ticket queue, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues
  • Support and maintain desktop hardware, including monitors and Cisco voice products
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting and provide user support for onsite technology assets
  • Assist in setting up multimedia events, video conferences, and Zoom meetings
  • Maintain and document IT processes to improve efficiency and streamline operations
  • Handle hardware product lifecycle management, including asset tracking and inventory control
  • Support disaster recovery testing and recovery operations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with provisioning and troubleshooting desktop hardware
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills and experience managing IT support tickets
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact confidently with users at all levels
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working in a Service Desk or Helpdesk environment (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
