Filenet Engineer – Analyst/SME

As a Filenet Engineer – Analyst / SME, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution engaged in a multi-year project aimed at enhancing their content management systems. This role primarily supports the European region with occasional engagements in the US and Canada. You will play a crucial part in delivering technology projects by analyzing business requirements, developing solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The position follows a hybrid working model, predominantly remote with occasional office visits for workshops and team integration.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyzing and proposing solutions based on business requirements
• Translating business requirements into working software efficiently
• Demonstrating solutions to the business and incorporating feedback
• Amending and producing specifications and documentation as needed
• Investigating live system faults, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions
• Completing projects in a timely manner
• Coordinating with team members to ensure project success
• Supporting European, US, and Canadian regions as required
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
• Participating in workshops and team integration activities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Good knowledge of and working experience with IBM FileNet platform, Content Navigator, Content Collector, Image Manager
• Strong understanding of the Enterprise Content Management domain
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE
• Fluent English
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and adaptability to change
• Self-organization skills and good business communication experience
• Curiosity and the ability to learn new technologies and procedures quickly
• A degree from a university or technical college, preferably in IT, with at least 3 years of programming experience
• Ability to work overlapping hours with the US Central time zone
• Experience in analyzing and solving complex technical issues

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Application Servers (Websphere Application Server)
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle)
• Linux/Windows server administration skills
• Cloud knowledge and experience, particularly with GCP
• Kubernetes or GCP knowledge
