As a Frontend Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to modernizing its digital banking platforms. You will be a key player in advancing the client’s platform, which serves large commercial and global banking customers. Your role involves participating in the design, development, and end-to-end testing of cutting-edge digital solutions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a major technological transformation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and quality are paramount.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participating in the design, development, and end-to-end testing for various projects
• Engaging in technical reviews and providing expert inputs to improve quality
• Reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards
• Following and advocating for quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborating closely with backend development teams to consume REST APIs using async methods
• Developing user interfaces with cross-browser and cross-device compliant code
• Writing high-quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Utilizing JavaScript MVC frameworks and libraries to enhance functionality
• Implementing popular React.js workflows such as Flux, Redux-Thunk, or Redux-Saga
• Keeping up-to-date with newer specifications of ECMAScript and implementing them as needed

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with SASS/Less and UI build frameworks like NPM, Grunt, or Gulp
• Proficiency in JavaScript MVC and experience manipulating the DOM with standard JavaScript
• Experience consuming REST APIs and collaborating with backend teams
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology
• Ability to write well-structured, testable, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with CSS methodologies like BEM, OOCSS, or SMACSS
• Knowledge of JS testing frameworks like Mocha, Jasmine, JEST, or Chai

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js
• Familiarity with functional and object-oriented approaches to JavaScript
