Full Stack Developer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to providing innovative technology solutions within global markets. You will be contributing to all stages of the development life cycle, including analysis, testing, and production support, in a dynamic team environment. The role requires collaboration with a team of 4–6 people, often working closely with a dedicated product owner. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions while ensuring a balanced approach to technical debt and new functionality.

Your main responsibilities: Working within a team to deliver business requirements by dividing them into stories and iteratively deploying them to production

• Providing product support as part of the development process, following the principle “the team builds it, the team supports it”
• Identifying and prioritizing technical debt alongside new functionality to maintain a healthy balance
• Designing solutions for new requirements that comply with technology guidelines and constraints
• Pairing with other team members to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Collaborating with geographically dispersed teams when necessary

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Willingness to learn multiple programming languages
• Demonstrable experience with at least one programming language, especially Java or JavaScript (client & server)
• Working knowledge of Unix systems
• Understanding of databases from a consumer perspective
• Familiarity with HTTP APIs, such as RESTful APIs
• Problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach to development
• Ability to break down complex requirements into achievable tasks
• Experience in providing production support and ensuring software quality
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with geographically dispersed teams
• Knowledge of best practices for code versioning and collaboration tools
