As a Java+React Developer, you will be working for our Client, a leading financial institution in Europe, specializing in investment banking. The department that you’ll join is embarking on an ambitious project to enhance its risk management capabilities through the development of a strategic platform named SAGE. This platform aims to provide comprehensive risk aggregation and analysis for Risk managers, leveraging both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Joining the team in, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the development and maintenance of SAGE, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance meet the highest standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing APIs and SDKs to support the functionality of the SAGE platform
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, vendors, and other IT teams to analyze requirements and design solutions effectively
• Embracing DevOps and Agile principles to streamline development processes and enhance productivity
• Implementing test-driven development practices and fostering close collaboration with team members across multiple locations
• Providing support for the platform’s database, including incident resolution, monitoring, and problem management

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in technologies: Spring Boot, Swagger, Java, ReactJS, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, SPARK, Python, GCP
• Qualifications in Information Technology or related fields
• Hands-on experience in API and SDK design and development
• Proficiency in microservice development and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Ability to offer innovative solutions to complex business challenges
• Self-motivation and a willingness to learn new technologies and business domains

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Financial Risk management within the banking or financial industry
• Familiarity with Traded Risk domain-specific knowledge
• Understanding of OLAP and ETL processes
• API gateway technologies (Kong)
• Scrum master knowledge or certified, or PMP certified
• FRM or CFA certified
