Full Stack Engineer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Full Stack Engineer you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services provider undergoing large-scale digital transformation. You will be contributing to a high-impact, business-critical platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure web applications. This role combines back-end and front-end development, using modern technologies and CI/CD practices. You will be part of a DevOps-oriented environment, with shared responsibility for development and production support, ensuring system reliability and performance improvements aligned with business needs.

Your main responsibilities: Developing and maintaining robust back-end services using Java

• Designing and implementing user interfaces using React.js
• Writing and consuming RESTful APIs for microservice architectures
• Debugging, extending, and optimizing existing codebases
• Creating unit and integration tests to ensure feature quality
• Implementing security measures across services and endpoints
• Participating in performance tuning and platform stability improvements
• Collaborating with teams to deploy features through CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting production systems on a rotating schedule
• Designing effective and scalable database schemas

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java development
• Solid knowledge of React.js and front-end principles
• Understanding of microservices and RESTful API design
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation practices
• Experience in writing clean, testable code with adequate coverage
• Awareness of secure coding standards
• Ability to analyze and debug issues quickly and efficiently
• Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude with a strong learning mindset

It’s a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Exposure to DevOps practices and supporting production environments
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools
