As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution, within one of the departments. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of data platforms and products on GCP.

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintaining CI/CD tooling and pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Ansible)
• Developing shared services components for platform enhancement
• Contributing to GCP services deployment patterns
• Automating tasks for resilience and compliance
• Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Leveraging programming skills in Bash and Python
• Managing Linux administration and networking principles
• Engaging in SRE and Service Management practices
• Collaborating with technical and business teams for problem-solving

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong expertise in CI/CD and DevOps tooling
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms and best practices
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• A commitment to automation in all aspects of work
• Solid programming skills in Bash and Python
• Experience in Linux administration and networking
• Familiarity with SRE and Service Management principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Background in Data Engineering and related tooling (Airflow, Spark)
