As a Golang Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization, delivering high-quality software solutions. You will join a dynamic team focused on engineering innovative and secure platforms for internal users. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the future of their technology landscape, working on data storage, security, and system resilience. Your expertise will directly influence the client’s technical transformation, while you drive improvements across their infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and engineering software with a focus on user experience
• Contributing to the Technology Engineering Practice by sharing best practices and subject matter expertise
• Driving adherence to technology standards and policies
• Developing and maintaining secure internal applications, focusing on backend and usability
• Engineering security measures for the protection of systems, networks, products, and services
• Automating processes to ensure high-quality, predictable code and data
• Supporting incident resolution and assisting with IT service management
• Ensuring service resilience and recovery time objectives are met
• Staying updated on tools, technologies, and cybersecurity regulations applicable to data privacy
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Excellent proficiency in Go (Golang) and experience with Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Ansible
• Expertise in API design, including Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, and Microservices
• Experience optimizing performance for large datasets using PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms via OAuth 2
• Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway
• Solid understanding of Agile testing disciplines, including TDD and Agile/Scrum development
• Strong observability skills using tools like OTel, ELK (Elastic and Kibana)
• Proven experience with Linux, networking, and storage systems
• Experience in a financial services or large regulated enterprise environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Temporal
• Expertise in performance tuning for large-scale applications
• Knowledge of security and data privacy regulations in a global environment
