Informatica Power Center Developer

As an Informatica Power Center Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial sector, focusing on the development and implementation of data warehouses and information systems. Your role will encompass designing ETL algorithms, implementing BI solutions, and ensuring the quality and functionality of these systems. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Informatica, Oracle databases, and SQL in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities: Conduct project and implementation work for the development of data warehouses and information systems

• Design ETL algorithms and implement ETL processes
• Participate in the implementation of Informatica tools
• Design databases and reporting-analytical marts
• Develop and implement BI environments
• Control the quality of work performed by others through testing IT solutions
• Prepare technical specifications and project, technical, and administrative documentation
• Prepare software installation packages
• Oversee software acceptance and participate in system handover to operations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Good knowledge of Informatica Power Center for building ETL processes
• Proficient with RDBMS Oracle 9i / 10g in database and application design
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and familiarity with PL/SQL
• Understanding of IT systems engineering concepts and methodologies
• At least 6 months of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying ETL solutions using Informatica Power Center
• Minimum 1 year of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying information systems in Oracle database environments
• Practical experience in designing and programming data warehouses and information systems for financial, telecommunications, or similarly complex institutions
• Ability to communicate in English, including reading technical documentation

It’s a strong plus if you have:

• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with Big Data
• Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts
• Ability to work according to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, SVN, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
