Infrastructure Engineer

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution that provides cutting-edge technology solutions to support seamless business operations. You will be part of the Unified Communications and Instant Messaging Engineering team, responsible for managing infrastructure updates, installations, and the deployment of conferencing and messaging services. Your primary focus will be the Zoom Audio Archive project, ensuring the transfer of audio from the Zoom cloud into the Verint storage platform. You will play a key role in driving this project from Proof of Concept to full-scale implementation, ensuring its successful handover to the operations team.

Your main responsibilities: Managing the technical aspects of the Zoom Audio Archive project

• Coordinating tasks for technical stakeholders and ensuring timely execution
• Creating and executing test plans to validate infrastructure performance
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation for operational handover
• Identifying risks and issues and communicating them to project stakeholders
• Engaging with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to align with global standards
• Driving the project from Proof of Concept to full implementation
• Providing technical leadership within an established project framework
• Ensuring compliance with IT infrastructure standards and security policies
• Supporting troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Unified Communications infrastructure

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Solid knowledge of AV/Video conferencing solutions
• Proven experience in technically guiding teams in a productivity-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Experience working in an infrastructure-critical environment
• Familiarity with IT Infrastructure delivery and related processes
• Vendor and stakeholder management experience
• Ability to analyze and present information clearly in reports and presentations
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and production incident processes
• Experience in handling technical documentation for operational handovers
• Innovative thinking and ability to challenge conventional approaches

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Zoom, Teams, or similar collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of Verint storage solutions
• Familiarity with global financial institution infrastructure standards
• Previous experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects
• Understanding of cloud storage and archiving best practices
