Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/month in the office)
As an Integration Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing a major transformation of its enterprise integration systems. You will be contributing to the modernization and automation of integration workflows, supporting the seamless exchange of data between critical systems. The project spans development, deployment, and continuous improvement, collaborating with international teams in a dynamic and tech-forward environment. You will be at the heart of a strategic initiative to enhance operational efficiency through cutting-edge integration tools and DevOps practices.
Your main responsibilities: Developing integration flows using IBM Integration Bus and App Connect Enterprise
- Designing and maintaining data transformation maps with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX)
- Collaborating with international teams to understand integration requirements
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins
- Supporting deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments
- Monitoring integration solutions and resolving system-related issues
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure system reliability and performance
- Participating in code reviews and quality assurance processes
- Maintaining technical documentation for integration processes
- Working with Unix/Linux systems to manage and troubleshoot deployments
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Experience with IBM Integration Bus Version 10 or IBM App Connect Enterprise
- Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX)
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Familiarity with GitHub and Jenkins in a CI/CD context
- Strong interest in integration technologies and data exchange systems
- Solid understanding of WebSphere MQ
- Good communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher)
- Ability to self-organize and work independently
- Open-minded attitude and collaborative mindset
- Basic SQL knowledge, preferably with DB2
It is strong plus if you have:
- Experience with automated testing using JUnit
- Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere DataStage (ETL)
- Familiarity with integration from a CI/CD perspective
- German language skills
