Drive Innovation in Data Warehousing: IPC Developer wanted!

Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month).

As an IPC Developer you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on strategic projects related to the development of data warehouses and information systems. You will support the transformation of raw data into valuable insights by designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica. The client operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, where data quality and efficient reporting are crucial. You will contribute to the creation of robust analytical solutions, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and compliance within a modern financial ecosystem.

Your main responsibilities: Lead project and implementation work related to data warehouse and information system development

• Design algorithms and implement ETL processes
• Participate in the deployment of Informatica tools
• Design databases and reporting-analytical data marts
• Develop and maintain BI-class analytical environments
• Test and validate solutions to ensure software quality
• Create technical specifications and project, technical, and administrative documentation
• Prepare software installation packages
• Support software acceptance and participate in system deployment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center for building ETL processes
• Solid experience with Oracle 9i/10g RDBMS in database and application design
• Very good command of SQL and working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Understanding of IT systems engineering and software development methodologies
• Minimum 6 months of experience designing, implementing, and deploying ETL solutions using Informatica Power Center
• At least 1 year of experience designing and implementing information systems with Oracle databases
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse and information system development for financial, telecom, or similar institutions
• Ability to communicate in English and read technical documentation
• Willingness and ability to work in a team
• Commitment, communication skills, and openness
• Analytical thinking skills

Nice to have:

• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with Big Data
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) concepts
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of tools such as SQL Developer, SVN, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
