Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)
As an IT Portfolio Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services institution engaged in digital transformation initiatives and portfolio optimization across business units. You will support project and portfolio governance, facilitate reporting processes, and ensure the successful implementation of Agile practices. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you are helping to drive efficient data collection, stakeholder coordination, and timely decision-making for senior leaders. Your role is essential in enabling transparency and improving portfolio performance at both regional and global levels.
Your main responsibilities: Managing and maintaining Jira and Confluence platforms for portfolio-level tracking
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze portfolio data
- Producing meaningful Management Information (MI) to support executive decision-making
- Prioritizing competing requests and aligning them with portfolio goals
- Preparing and presenting reports using Excel and PowerPoint for senior stakeholders
- Facilitating Agile governance meetings and maintaining key documentation
- Identifying process inefficiencies and proposing improvements
- Tracking action items and ensuring follow-ups across regional and global teams
- Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders across time zones
- Supporting the adoption of Agile frameworks within portfolio management
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on MI and data-driven decisions
- Experience engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization
- Excellent verbal communication skills for managing meetings and follow-ups
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing stakeholder updates
- High level of autonomy and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment
- A collaborative approach to working in global, distributed teams
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management
- Knowledge of Clarity or Qlik for portfolio reporting
- Experience creating or maintaining Excel Macros
- Understanding of financial industry planning processes and trends
- A proactive mindset in driving process improvements
