IT Systems Specialist

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As an IT Systems Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of security across their infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee and manage technical and physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, while collaborating with internal teams and external service providers. You will also contribute to developing and maintaining internal security standards, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all security-related processes.

Your main responsibilities: Monitor and control security systems to ensure their optimal performance

• Execute tasks related to physical and technical security operations
• Supervise and verify maintenance and servicing performed by external vendors
• Operate and manage access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
• Oversee user permissions and configuration settings for security systems
• Develop and update internal security standards and protocols
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve security-related issues
• Ensure documentation and reporting of security incidents and resolutions
• Analyze security processes and propose improvements
• Support team members in implementing security best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of IT systems supporting physical security (SKD, CCTV, SWiN)
• Strong ability to analyze and articulate findings clearly in written form
• Self-discipline for effective remote work and team collaboration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with access control systems, video surveillance, and alarm technologies
• Experience in supervising third-party service providers
• Ability to create and maintain internal security documentation
• Proficiency in identifying and addressing system vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of industry standards and security best practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Possession of a certification confirming competencies
• Good knowledge of the market for solutions supporting physical security systems
