Junior Tester

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Junior Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading company in online banking, supporting their software development projects by ensuring the quality and reliability of their applications. You will be responsible for verifying functionalities in web and desktop environments, executing automated and manual tests, and collaborating closely with product owners and the project team to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test scenarios
• Test web and desktop application functionalities
• Verify reports and data summaries
• Execute and create scripts for functional and integration testing using automated tools
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Track and report defect statistics in projects
• Collaborate closely with the project team, product owner, and business stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong self-organization and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of software development processes
• Understanding of testing tools and methodologies
• Hands-on experience with TestLink or similar testing tools
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to analyze source data
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to quality assurance and continuous learning
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

• Ability to communicate precisely both directly and via electronic channels (email, chat, video)
• Capability to independently suggest optimizations for tested applications
• Practical knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI, Postman)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence environments
• Basic knowledge of relational databases
• Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS
• Practical knowledge of SQL at a basic level
• Understanding of the HTTP protocol
• Basic knowledge of web services such as SOAP and REST
• Basic familiarity with developer tools available in web browsers (especially Chrome)
