As a Lead Consultant Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution leading innovative cloud and DevOps solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the multi-year DevOps vision for a global engineering community, driving cloud infrastructure strategies and CI/CD best practices. Collaborating with architecture and engineering teams, you will design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions while providing leadership to junior team members and ensuring alignment with high-level architecture principles.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using best practices
• Aligning all build and design activities with overall strategy and architecture principles
• Mentoring junior team members to develop their technical and soft skills
• Working with Google Cloud Platform and tools like Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow
• Designing and implementing observability tools such as logging and metrics
• Building and maintaining modular shared pipeline components
• Managing CI/CD environments using CloudBees Jenkins, including installation and configuration
• Leading the design of branching strategies for declarative pipeline management
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with security and change management tools
• Providing incident support and problem management for cloud and DevOps environments

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 10+ years of experience in CI/CD and DevOps environments
• Advanced knowledge of CloudBees Jenkins (installation, configuration, administration)
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and tools like Cloud Storage, Big Query, and Cloud Logging
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration on platforms like GKE, AKS, or EKS
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming languages like Python and Groovy
• Expertise in declarative Jenkins pipeline development and branching strategies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Proven experience in leading a team or pod within a DevOps environment
• Familiarity with agile and scrum processes
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical teams and senior management

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with cost optimization design for cloud solutions
• Knowledge of SAST/DAST tooling and security integrations
• Experience with problem management and incident support in cloud environments
