Manual Tester

Drive Quality as a Tester at one of the biggest Polish banks!

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Manual Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading company in online banking, contributing to the development of customer service applications. You will ensure the quality and functionality of critical banking systems by executing manual test scenarios, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your role will involve analyzing source data, maintaining test documentation, and supporting Agile methodologies to enhance software reliability. This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-standard tools and technologies, directly impacting the user experience of banking customers.

Your main responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and modify test scenarios

• Conduct functional testing of customer service applications and core banking systems
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Report and track software defects
• Collaborate closely with project teams, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Analyze source data to improve test coverage
• Utilize Jira and Confluence for test management and reporting
• Work with tools like Testlink, Visual Studio, and Postman for testing purposes
• Support Agile development processes through testing best practices
• Assist in refining and improving testing methodologies

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Basic knowledge of software development processes
• Basic understanding of testing tools and methodologies
• Experience in manual testing of customer service applications
• Ability to create and execute test conditions and scenarios
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Testlink, Visual Studio, and Postman (or similar tool) for testing purposes
• Analytical skills to interpret source data effectively
• Knowledge of SQL and MSSQL
• Experience with automated end-to-end testing
• Knowledge of C#, Gherkin, Jenkins
• Experience in automated testing of customer service applications
