Manual Tester

Drive Quality as a Tester at one of the biggest Polish banks!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Manual Tester, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the bank’s proprietary application through meticulous manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with IT analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure seamless user experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

Your main responsibilities: Plan and execute manual tests

• Automate test cases for the bank’s proprietary application
• Create test cases and test scenarios
• Maintain test documentation and repositories
• Report bugs to the development team and retest fixes
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Report progress and test statistics to the team lead or project manager
• Identify risks associated with testing processes and product quality
• Develop metrics to measure test progress and product quality
• Collaborate actively with IT analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Knowledge of manual testing processes
• Ability to analyze application logs and source data
• Experience working with applications with high internal and intersystem dependencies
• Basic understanding of software development processes
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams
• Experience collaborating with IT teams
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to learn and understand banking processes, especially in payments and settlements
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, and Splunk

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of the banking and financial industry
• Familiarity with test management tools (X-Ray)
