As a MAP Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing a strategic transformation in Identity and Access Management (IAM). This initiative aims to modernize access control, enhance recertification processes, and automate lifecycle efficiencies. You will play a key role in delivering the My Access Portal (SailPoint) solution, aligning with the institution’s long-term security strategy. Collaborating with project managers, technical specialists, and business stakeholders, you will ensure the successful implementation of IAM controls and processes, addressing regulatory requirements and improving operational effectiveness.
Your main responsibilities: Overseeing and managing deliverables throughout the MAP Delivery lifecycle for a dedicated workstream
- Working with business and technology owners to define and deliver scope and priorities
- Providing supporting documentation, regular progress reports, and risk and issue management
- Establishing effective working relationships across product owners, IAM stakeholders, and IT teams
- Taking ownership of critical issues, ensuring resolution within agreed timescales, and implementing mitigation plans
- Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines
- Driving and leading a geographically dispersed team to achieve common objectives
- Ensuring compliance with IAM security standards and best practices
- Coordinating Agile and Waterfall (Hybrid) project management approaches
- Engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive project success
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- IT project management experience within technical and complex environments
- Delivery experience within IAM or cyber-related projects
- Experience delivering significant change projects across technology, people, and processes
- Proven track record of working with technical, cybersecurity, and operations teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate dispersed teams to meet objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve critical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of IAM products, controls, and requirements
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall (Hybrid) project management approaches
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with working in regulated environments, ideally within the financial sector
- Previous experience managing projects within an IAM function
- Previous SailPoint migration experience
- Experience working with global teams
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
