As a Mid-Level Workforce Planning Analyst, you will be working for our client within the Workforce Management function. You will contribute to the development and management of workforce plans, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational strategies across multiple service lines. Drive operational excellence by managing transactional activities related to workforce planning, contingent worker onboarding and offboarding, and supporting recruitment pipelines — shaping the future of HR operations in a global banking environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of role-based workforce plans for both permanent and temporary roles, aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to understand workforce needs, execute workforce plans, and oversee all transactional activities.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures established by the Central team across service lines.
  • Oversee contingent workforce processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and tenure tracking.
  • Maintain high-quality data within Pioneer to support accurate planning and reporting.
  • Drive recruitment pipeline activity and support scaled hiring initiatives within the service line.
  • Educate hiring managers on workforce policies and assist in tooling enhancements and UAT as necessary.
  • Support workforce insourcing actions and contribute feedback for process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in workforce management, HR operations, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in managing workforce plans and end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and process improvement capabilities.
  • Knowledge of HSBC Group structures, policies, and external market factors.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Pioneer or similar workforce planning tools.
  • Familiarity with UAT procedures and tooling development.

Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Eligibility to work in Europe:

  • Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
